Set in a zen garden, the villa Macabou is a secret gem. The villa's decor is both modern and warm. Harmony and contemporary furnishings keep the villa's Caribbean personality intact. The sleek, uncluttered open-plan kitchen is functional and very well-equipped. The lounge area includes sofas, armchairs and television.In the five air-conditioned rooms, color is the order of the day. The master bedroom welcomes you with its turquoise tones. It opens onto the terrace and faces the sea. The 160x200 rubberwood bed is framed by bedside tables with driftwood lamps. The adjoining shower room features beautiful slate tiles. Two volcanic stone basins stand on a hevea cabinet topped by a large mirror. The second bedroom, in violet hues, faces the garden. It features a 160x200 bed, a wardrobe and two hevea bedside tables. The adjoining shower room features a basin, walk-in shower and toilets. The third bedroom, with its hints of red, opens onto the terrace and looks out over the sea. On both sides of the 160x200 bed are bedside tables topped with fabric lamps. The adjoining shower room features a walk-in shower, a natural stone washbasin set on a rubberwood cabinet and toilets. The fourth bedroom, with its green tones, looks out onto the garden. Its natural hevea 160x200 bed is framed by bedside tables topped with fabric lamps. The adjoining shower room features a walk-in shower, a natural stone washbasin set on a hevea cabinet, and a toilet. The last bedroom, featuring a mouse-gray hue, exudes a sense of calm. Its natural hevea 160x200 bed is framed by bedside tables topped with fabric lamps. The adjoining shower room features a walk-in shower, a natural stone washbasin set on a piece of furniture, and a toilet.
The outside of my villa in Martinique and its swimming pool:
The vast veranda extends the villa. It houses a lounge where you can sip your aperitif or enjoy lunch in your open-air dining room. The swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off... unless you'd prefer to dive into the crystal-clear waters of Petit Macabou beach, just off the garden.A second carbet houses another lounge. This one invites you to bask in the warm hours, as well as late in the evening. At night, it's the ideal place to enjoy the moon's shimmering silver reflections on the sea.
